“ We had a great time at Anna Dolce Ristorante. We were there for an early supper. The drinks were great. We had 2 pizzas and the Osso Bucco. The pizzas were excellent. The Osso Bucco was as good as I have ever had. The polenta with it was amazing. We brought food home ”

“ While expensive, this place is reasonably priced for the quality of the food you are getting. We went during their happy hour and they had some great deals. We split a pitcher of mojitos and got some appetizers. I absolutely loved the brussel sprouts with the hummus. Update: We came back for a real dinner; the eggplant and salon were pretty good but their seasonal risotto was a little off, very sweet! We’ll be back for happy hour. ”

“ Okay so let me start off by saying I am in my second trimester and I have been extremely picky about everything I’ve eaten. I had been disappointed by food too many times the past 9 weeks because of the little person inside me Anyway, tonight my husband and I went to Anna Dolce Ristorante in West Des Moines and it exceeded my expectations. We got the calamari strips first and they were perfect, not rubbery or chewy, just perfect. Then we asked about the table side parm wheel, and our waiter said they didn’t do it on Sundays. He could tell I looked a little sad but I was actually laughing the whole time. I said “I’m just pregnant it’s okay.” And then he said that he had to get it done for me then. We have never had pasta out of a Parmesan wheel before so this was exciting for us. It was the BEST pasta I have ever had. I will never eat Alfredo again after eating it out of a Parmesan wheel. We also got shrimp with our pasta and they were large and cooked perfectly. Then we finished our night off with the tiramisu, which you could tell was homemade and not store bought or frozen. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be coming back soon. Outstanding waiter, and cook to make that exception for us to do the table side parm wheel for us. Beyond satisfied. ”

“ I absolutely adore the happy hour from 3-6, half priced apps and some Cocktails and wines, half price pizzas too. I’ve tried every pizza - nom nom nom. Other faves are the Osso Bucco if you’re looking to splurge, Amalfi salad, the burrata- yum! Vodka Rigatoni and spaghetti and meatballs are also fantastic. Great atmosphere and staff. Nice patio when the weather cooperates and a private room can be reserved for groups/events. ”

“ Came here around 10pm last Friday after a show. A server greeted us right away. We requested a high top by the bar because that area was more lively. There were so many drink options but the both of us were in the mood for a cocktail. I got the Sweet Heat, he got the Old Country. The food didn't take long to come out after we got our drinks. The cocktails were really good, but, oh my goodness, the pasta was amazing! They don't make their own pasta (which was perfectly al dente) but their sauces from scratch are absolutely on point! The bleu cheese in the Gorgonzola Cream was not overpowering and the other elements complemented each other perfectly. My beau got the Vodka Rigatoni--absolutely delicious! These pastas totally hit the spot and were still just as good reheated the next day! Highly recommend!!! ”
